Tired of being tethered down by a wired controller? The Snakebyte GAME:PAD 4S Wireless for PS4 Controller is made for gamers seeking that cordless freedom. Dual vibration motors let you feel all the action, while the twin analogue sticks and trigger buttons guarantee precision control.

The Game:Pad 4S is a whole new design, taking elements of the PS4 controller and adding them to a smaller, lighter shell. There are smaller changes that aren’t that obvious on first glance. Gone are the shapes on the buttons, being replaced by the names of them instead. There is no light bar, allowing for a bigger L1 and R1 button. I feel like they almost looked at what could be removed or shrunk.
The whole feel is a lot more angler, with more defined edges sitting on my hands. This feels comfortable at first but found I was missing the PS4 controllers more rounded shape. I also found it a tad small for my bigger hands, and it felt more toy-like.

They also decided to move the share and options buttons to above the analogue sticks. This felt like an odd placement, but I found this made it easier to access them. The switches under the thumbsticks are also very tough and need a proper push down to activate them.

Overall this is an OK controller, its around £15 cheaper than an original PS4 controller. I am not sure if I would suggest getting one unless you want to say yourself £15. Finally, please check out our gaming reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
