There is a super bright LED on the cable to let you know when its plugged in and charging. The magnet is super strong as well, and I have been able to pick up my controller with the cable.
The overall build quality is fantastic and even stood up to my kitten attempting to eat it. The magnetic connection is strong and I had to shake it to remove it. Charging speeds were on par with any other quick charge cable. Also, the same can be said for data transfer.
