VOLTME 60W USB-C to USB-C Charger Cable

The VOLTME 60W USB-C to USB-C Charger Cable is an optimized and tested Silica Gel wire core that supports up to 60W output power and works best with PD, PPS and QC fast chargers.

The Cable is sheathed in silicone. I love cables that are sheathed in silicone as they flex so easily and never kink unlike cables sheathed in plastic which always have kinks that can never be removed. I’d like to see all cables sheathed in silicone but plastic is cheaper to produce, though I think a lot of people would be willing to pay a little extra for the option.

VOLTME 60W USB-C to USB-C Charger Cable Specs:

• Max power output of 60W.
• Supports PD, PPS and QC fast chargers.
• 480Mbps Data Transfer: 1G (?) files will be transferred within 30s.

Testing the fast charge capability on a Samsung S22 which will charge at up to 45W the charge times were identical to Samsung’s original cable.

The data transfer rating of the cable is stated as meeting the USB 2.0 specification of 480 Mbit/s (60MBps) and I was happy that the cable met that figure. However, it should be noted that USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cables offer up to 20Gbps SuperSpeed data transfer and up to 100W PD/QC fast charging and are available on Amazon for a similar price to this cable, though whether they can match the quality of the VOLTME cable is another matter.

It’s a good cable, the connectors do not feel as if they will break anytime soon and being sheathed in silicone it is extremely flexible and will not retain kinks. However, it is no speed demon when compared to USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 cables.

Overall, I recommend getting this VOLTME 60W USB-C to USB-C Charger Cable if you don’t need a speed demon.
