Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands on Nintendo Switch. A young girl has travelled to the Sacred Lands. Within this realm, she will face many challenges, fight dangerous monsters and solve mysterious puzzles. Many have come to this land before, all in hopes of finishing the Sacred Trial, but none have succeeded! Will she fail like the others? Or will she overcome the odds and return home!?
Like other Zelda clones, Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands is based on exploration, upgrades and collection of gear. You can view the world using the in-game map, and fast travel is unlocked through exploration. Different areas have different themes, such as desert and jungle. Enemies look different based on the area they are found in. There are also cave/dungeons to explore.

Saving is done by sleeping in beds. These are scattered throughout the game. I would recommend sleeping often, as this is the only way to save the game. This is also recommended due to the amount of grinding you have to do. This involves grinding to get a better bag, in order to grind more. The last thing you want is to die and lose everything.
Enemies can be attacked by using your sword or bow. While exploring the world you’ll find chests, which contain stones for mana or life. Collecting 3 of a type of stone will boost either your life or mana. Upgrading in Shalnor Legends: Sacred Lands is done with money and material. You can find these littered around the game in grass and barrels. You can then find a character in the game to help you upgrade.
The puzzles in the game get old very quickly. There may only be a couple of puzzles overall and they just differ slightly throughout the game. I feel to be a Zelda clone more thought needs to be put into the puzzles throughout the game, as these can be welcome breaks to the grinding.
