The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive USB Type-C is designed specifically with next-generation devices in mind, due to the use of the USB Type-C port. 

This drive utilises high-speed USB 3.1 performance. This means I can transfer up to 150MB/s. Allowing for quicker transfers and less time waiting around.

The big selling point is the use of dual connectors. There is a USB-C port on one side, and a USB-A port on the other. This maximises the compatibility options.

You can also use the SanDisk Memory Zone app. The app lets you view, access, and back up all the files from your phone’s memory in one location. It can also automatically move files from your device to your drive to free up space.

iXpand™ Wireless Charger

With the SanDisk iXpand™ Wireless Charger, you can place your phone on the wireless charger, and it will also back up your phone. That’s right! You can charge and backup your phone at the same time.

The app allows you to backup and then clear space on your phone. Meaning that I won’t run out of space on my phone. This backs up my photos and then removes them from my phone systematically.

The charger can have a profile per device, so each family member can use the charger and then back up to their profile.

All the safety features have been added including foreign object detection, overcharging protection and adaptive charging. This means that if I place my keys on the charger with my phone, it will shut off.

 The iXpand™ Wireless Charger charges through any case up to 3mm thick. As I tend to review a huge number of cases this is great.
