We have taken up walking as a hobby, and walks can go on for a long time. So I wanted something I could carry on my back, that allowed quick access to water. The Osprey Duro 15 backpack is a great solution to this problem. Offering one main water section and two additional smaller ones, the Osprey Duro 15 is great.

As a bigger guy, I went for the M/L size of the backpack. There are multiple straps which can be adjusted to fit anyone, so it can fit both me and my much smaller wife. A small issue I had was the connection of the straps, they were a bit fiddly. They aren’t the standard clips, and as such take a little while to get used to.

There is a mesh back which makes the pack comfortable to wear, especially in the heat. The shoulder straps are big and take a lot of the weight. Though this isn’t a weekend bag, its big enough to hold a change of clothes and your smart devices. There is a big compartment with a zip and a mesh pocket at the back. The zips are great, as they are big and bulky, which means that you can find it easily and open them with no problems.

This is great for running, as there are enough straps to securely strap the bag to you. Meaning when you run, it won’t flap about which can be very annoying. There are more than enough pockets, for snacks devices and anything else you can think of.

The main water bladder is held within the main section of the bag and is 2.5l. There are also two smaller water bags, these go in the shoulder straps. There are 3 straws coming at you to sustain your hydration. The main straw uses a magnet to stay in place, which is something I haven’t seen before. It’s great, as it keeps it in place but easy to move when needed.

When everything is packed and all the bags are full, this is a heavy bag. But due to the design, it sits perfectly. It doesn’t feel as heavy when on my back, which is exactly what you need. Finally, check out our other lifestyle reviews.
