I started using my Quest 2 using the provided spacer with my glasses, the frames were too big and it bent the hinges with the weight of the VR. After looking at various options I ordered Oculus Quest 2 Prescription Lens Adapter from VR Optician with the reviews and YouTube vids positive and they were right to be!
Ordering the lenses is easy, you just need your prescription… most Opticians should be able to provide that for free, lenses will vary depending on your prescription strengths (they also do Plano lenses if you just want to protect your oculus lenses) and whether you want blue light protection or not.
The delivery can take a while. Mine took a couple of weeks, but the lenses are worth it. When they arrive they come in a glasses case, well presented each lens with its bag and a microfiber cloth. These seem the most premium of the lenses I have looked at.
These are by far my favourite in terms of design. Provided you have arranged them so you know which is left and right, you can easily just clip them in – there are two little hooks on the bottom which hook onto a ridge on the Oculus Rift lens. They are very secure, yet can easily be taken out as well. The lenses can be very close to your eye. Some people won’t have a problem with this, but I expect many would have to purchase a thicker VR Cover Facial Interface to prevent discomfort.
Of the lenses, I have tried, these were by far my favourite – I would highly recommend buying the Oculus Quest 2 Prescription Lens Adapter from VR Optician.
