GoNNER Launch Trailer – Nintendo Switch
Space whales, Grim Reaper and lots of dying. This is an oldie but a goodie. GoNNER is all style, the visuals are like something from the 60s. Your character is trying to impress your friend the space whale, and this involves dying and meeting the Grim Reaper.
This is a roguelike game, unlike any I have played. You can’t see the whole level, you only see things that are directly around you. You then have to kill everything you see before it kills you.

I have attached the trailer for this, as it truly shows how messy the levels can get. Everything is moving and you have to too. Enemies are easy to distinguish between and all have different attacks.
The unique element of this game is the head based, as in you get different heads as you play. These heads offer better weapons and abilities. But you will lose your head repeatedly and like many roguelike games, this process will get boring pretty boring.

This is a great game for the Switch, its a pickup and play kinda game. The visuals and wacky characters are what kept me coming back to this game. Finally, please check out our gaming reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
