Ghostrunner on Steam offers a unique single-player experience: fast-paced, violent combat, and an original setting that blends science fiction with post-apocalyptic themes. It tells the story of a world that has already ended and its inhabitants who fight to survive.
You play as a confused robot in Ghostrunner on Steam. As you have lost your memory, you learn as you play through the game. The story has a great ending to it and a huge amount of collectables in the game. The campaign is short at around five hours. But I found myself playing again to try and beat my score.
The combat is fast-paced and very violent. You will get killed a lot, but you learn as you go and get better each time. Enemies will come at you one at a time, and they have a lot of distance between them. As the game is so fast-paced, you need quick reflexes, and I found sometimes the game just couldn’t keep up.
The game is just beautiful, the scenery is impressive and the graphics quality is insanely good. The controls are so fluid, I am loving it. My only complaints are the bosses and the one-hit kill.
Overall, Ghostrunner on Steam is a fastpaced ultra-violent game, that ends a little too soon for me. I hope they will eventually release some DLC, to keep me coming back.
