Elevator to the Moon! Turbo Champion’s Edition Nintendo Switch Review

I haven’t played a point and click on the Switch yet. So I was excited to try out Elevator To The Moon on Nintendo Switch. You are a space cadet, rudely commanded by the President of the World to “Liberate” a Moon Elevator, evoking the wrath of the world’s most powerful AI.

Each “level” works as an individual episode. There is is a small room you can return too in order to pick the episode to play. I really love the humour in this game, and the quirky sci-fi feel is great. The game was built for VR originally, and you can definitely still tell. There is no movement in the game and just looking around.

IN VR I think this game would be awesome. You’d have to be looking around all the time, searching for clues. On the Switch, it does the same, but without VR it feels a lot easier. It has the feeling of an Escape Room, and that’s pretty cool. I like the idea of having an escape room game on the Switch.

I really enjoyed the art of the game. The look and style felt connected and worked well for the game. The stylised effects had a retro feel to it. The sound and music all felt like an old style sci-fi film.

If you like the idea of an escape the room style game, then this is for you. Its quirky comedy style and retro look work really well. Finally, check out our other gaming reviews.
