The Edifier X3 TO-U True Wireless Stereo Earbuds are a cute little pair of headphones. Nice and comfortable in the ear, you have two more pairs of ear tips in different sizes also, in a case like me, the first ones are a little too big for you.
These headphones come in a handy compact little case, which is roughly 5cm x 4cm x 2.5cm. In the case you actually charge from the back, via USB-c, one small cable is provided and then the headphones charge within that case. As of yet, I’ve not quite figured out how long it takes to charge the case as I left it on overnight and it doesn’t say in the booklet, I mean it may have been a bit helpful to know I guess.
The case will give you 3 charges for your headphones, this takes a mere 1.5 hours to charge them, you will get up to 6 hours playback from this small charge, which is good.
The headphones turn on and are ready to go as soon as they leave the case, they also turn back off when you replace them. The headphones have function touch style buttons on the front, these are to accept and end calls, play and pause music, skip tracks and access the voice assistant, which has come in quite handy with quick access to calling people without retrieving my phone from my bag!
Edifier X3 TO-U True Wireless Stereo Earbuds Review
The headphones can connect to devices via Bluetooth, just look for the EDIFIER and pair them. This is really quick and easy and once you’ve done it the first time, they will connect automatically the next time you’re ready to use them.
The music quality through the headphones is beautiful, it is absolutely lacking in bass though, I’m unsure who classed these as deep basses as they are not!
Aside from the lack of beats in your ear, the music is crisp, clear and perfect. Each word and tune is nice and sharp, the clarity is perfect, with no distortion anywhere.
Phone calls work well, better than I thought they would. You are clearly heard without too much background noise affecting you. Again, it’s all nice and clear, with good clarity and easy to hear.
For just less than £30, I don’t think they’re bad. Obviously like I said, they are lacking in bass and had they not said ‘deep bass’ I wouldn’t have been too fussed but I would be, had I have purchased them to find that out. They do block out background noise when the sound is up, you can’t really hear too much from sitting around someone who’s listening to them either.
Everything else works really well, the music is nice and loud, perfectly clear, calls work well, I do like them.
Overall, I would recommend the Edifier X3 TO-U True Wireless Stereo Earbuds, they’re not bad for the price.
