We got this set after trying the Echo Buds and Airpod Pro. My priorities on these earbuds are Quality Sound (for music), Noise Cancelling (Aeroplane and mowing noise) than for using the phone.
The Edifier TWS NB2 True Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds are very similar to the Airpod Pros, the case is as small and the physical style is very much the same. The earbuds are easy to take out and the fit is comfortable and secure just as the Airpod Pro. Using these with the Shanling M6 Pro I found the sound fabulous with a nice clean high, tight and strong bass (No EQ option but I don’t need it). The Noise Cancelling is almost as good as the other 2 brands. Phone usage is as good as the Airpod Pro.
The difference between ANC and Normal mode is very apparent, and Ambient mode (keeps voices detectable when riding my bike) is super useful. It won’t block all the noise, but it does excel at blocking low humming noises such as a fan. My only wish is that there was some way to change the volume using the buds, but other than that, I’m loving these!
The sound quality is pretty much as good as my over-ear headphones, which surprised me. And listening with ANC one does lead me to reduce the overall volume. The touch/tap is a little tough to engage even with the sensitivity turned up but it doesn’t bother me too much. I like that they automatically turn off when I pull one out of my ear.
Overall, I am pleased and would recommend the Edifier TWS NB2 True Wireless Active Noise Canceling Earbuds.
