I was very happy to see Sega consulted with M2 in the development of this game. M2 are the same guys behind the Mega Drive Mini, and so they know emulation. The collection includes games from Nintendo and Segas own Mega Drive. I was a little surprised to see Kid Dracula included, as this was only released in Japan as far as I know.

Launch Trailer:
I am relatively new to the Castlevania series, so my opinions are not based on nostalgia. I will say that this collection is the best way I have found to get into the series. This is a cherry-picked collection of the series, all emulated well and play great. Also, I will add the soundtracks are wicked!

There are CRT filters to bring in some nostalgia when playing through the games. The controls are easy to pick up and you’ll be back in 1987 in no time. They also include a digital document, which includes designs and other C props. This didn’t have to be added, but I think compliments the collection very well.

Overall, I have to say my favourites were Super Castlevania IV and Castlevania Bloodlines. I think I like the graphics a bit more, as they pop out to me. Finally, please check out our gaming reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
