Creating frothed milk by hand is a fun and easy process with the Barista & Co Handheld Milk Frother. Its ergonomic design makes it easy to froth milk and create cappuccinos and lattes in only a few minutes. To use, simply pour in cold milk to the max fill line, plunge the handle up and down and remove the frother from the jug to heat the milk in the microwave. After that, you can sit back and enjoy the perfect latte.
I am blown away by this unassuming little glass milk jug! It makes the most incredible froth for my cappuccino, and it comes out perfectly every time. I also like my drinks VERY hot, so the automatic milk brothers failed miserably every time on that front.
Barista & Co Handheld Milk Frother Review
I think there may be a knack to it, as I followed a YouTube reviewer and it works perfectly every time and the key is to start with COLD milk. Place milk in the frother and insert the plunger. Do about 50 little mini plunges at the fastest pace you can manage comfortably (you don’t take the plunger out of the milk, you just do mini pumps within the milk level). After you have done about 40-50 or so, the milk has risen slightly and the plunger comes out with a bit of cold milk froth on it.
Now for the magic!!! Take the plunger out and wash it then put the milk jug in the microwave. 45 seconds in a 900W microwave makes the milk and froth rise to the VERY TOP, so watch it as it easily overflows. When you take it out, you have a THICK foam like cream (see pictures of this morning’s delicious offering).
Overall, the Barista & Co Handheld Milk Frother is a great little helper for my morning coffee.
