PowerPort Atom III Slim 65W Charger Specs

  • Total Wattage: 65W
  • Input: 100 – 240V ~ 2A 50 – 60Hz
  • PIQ 3.0 (USB-C Port): 5V ⎓ 2.4A / 9V ⎓ 3A / 15V ⎓ 3A / 20V ⎓ 2.25A
  • USB-A Port: 5V ⎓ 4A(2.4A Max Per Port)

This tiny charger achieves its size by switching from silicon to GaN. When testing out the USB-C port, I was able to get 45w of power. the other 20w is divided between the 3 USB-A ports. These 3 ports are PowerIQ so detect what’s needed and delivers it.

The 3 ports have a max of 12w each, which means that if one port is being used to the full, there isn’t enough power for the other two ports. This is a problem if you want to fast charge 3 devices. When using this day-to-day I tend to leave some devices plugged in overnight and they are fully charged. Anker’s signature PowerIQ 3.0 technology provides high-speed charging to virtually any mobile device.

I started using this to charge my Nintendo Switch. Mainly in docked mode, this can charge it about halfway in around an hour. I am aware of the risk I am putting my Switch at, but I haven’t had a single issue.

PowerPort Atom III Slim 65W Charger Review

Overall the PowerPort Atom III Slim is a great portable charger. The 45w USB-C is great for high demand products, like the S20 or the Switch. The 3 other ports can be great for a slow charge over night.
