My first impression of the Anker 737 GaNPrime 120W Charger is that it’s a fantastic charger that does exactly what it says. I’m a longtime Anker user and this is exactly what I was waiting for as I am yet to buy a new MacBook and I wanted something that fits into my workflow and daily tech carry. Having incorporated this into my daily use has been super fun to use, I’ve always been carrying more than one power brick simply because there would never be any higher quality chargers that include at least two type c ports and one USB port for their devices that haven’t implemented type c or devices at lower power you may want to charge. This charger is basically the whole package in one as now I am able to charge my iPhone 12, my iPad Air 4 and also my AirPods or Apple Watch all at once with no hassle or slow speeds.

I really like the sleek build quality and although it’s got a bit of weight to it, it adds a sense of premium which you see and feel the second you’re unboxing it with their new package. The whole experience is premium which is what you’d expect at this price range I know it’s early days but as of now it’s safe to say I will be using this charger for a long time and I can certainly tell this by its quality and premium/ durable feel.

If you use to charge a single device depending on the device you can charge up to 100w which is exactly what I need if I’m purchasing a MacBook soon. I really love the colour of this product, the weight although that’s a personal preference and also how easily and snugly it fits into my everyday tech bag for work and uni life this will be perfect and is just the charger I was looking for my needs.

They could have come up with more colours for other users who may want to spice things up and add a splash of colour but for me, this gunmetal grey/ black is the go-to.

One thing is that the USB port is upside down. So when a cable is plugged in, especially if it’s an Anker cable for the type c ports both the logos will face upwards however because the USB port is the other way around which is unusual the logo faces down. I’m not sure if this was intentional or an accident or if it’s just my product but it doesn’t really bother me but is something to note however it doesn’t affect the functionality only aesthetics.

Overall, I will be using the Anker 737 GaNPrime 120W Charger as my main charger.
