Cronus Zen
Cronus Zen is a breakthrough device founded on the rich legacy of CronusMAX, universally recognized as the world’s definitive controller emulation and scripting technology. The idea behind this is simple. The Cronus Zen allows you to play any controller on any console. This also includes the ability to mod the controller via software.
Firstly I was a bit surprised by how big this was. There are three USB 2.0 ports, one micro-USB port and a mini USB port. There are then two micro-USB braided cables and a mini-USB braided cable. They all have the blue and black look to them, similar to the CronusMax.
Set up is a little complicated, so I would recommend reading the manual to get this done. You need to download and install the Zen Studio software, then connect the Cronus Zen to your PC via the mini-USB cable. The software will then pick it up. Once done, you then connect the Cronus Zen to your console using the Micro-USB cable. The USB-Port on the side is a passthrough, so is to be used by the consoles native controller. The two USB ports at the front are for crossover controllers. If this is all successful, you should be seeing green LEDs on the ports and the console name on the Zen Message screen.

I tested this on my switch. By plugging the Cronus Zen into the Switch dock with the mini-USB cable and then I turned on my PS4 controller to pair mode. I then held down the button on the Cronus Max and the PS4 controller connected with no problems. I tested the same process with my PS4 and an Xbox Elite controller and it worked without any problems.
the Zen Studio software is really easy to use. You can scroll through and find the game pack you’d want to use, and you can assign these to eight slots on the device’s memory. Once all is saved, plug the Cronus Zen back into the console and you can scroll through and select your game pack using the Zen Message screen and the buttons on the top.
There wasn’t any noticeable lag with any of the test setups. I will say that I sit very close to my screen, so there isn’t that much distance between the controller and the Cronus Zen.
