Most other coffee kits we have used have a high probability of breaking due to the fragility of the components. This is normally down to poor material choices such as glass, or just bad manufacturing. The Pakt Coffee Kit nests all the components together, each component fits inside the next larger one, like a Russian doll. All the parts are housed within the stainless steel kettle with protective silicone sleeves, keeping every piece secure and silent. The silicon stops the bits from rattling in your bag, which is a nice touch!
I love the way the parts nest so it doesn’t take up much space when not in use. My wife loves the look of the neoprene and stainless and the especially the grip.
The kettle boils quickly, this is mainly due to its smaller size I would guess. I love the spout and the way it makes a fine steady stream for a constant slow pour. The stainless filter is a nice touch. I like paper filters but if there isn’t one nearby, the stainless filter works perfectly.
This is great for travelling and staying in a hotel. You can use this when you need a proper coffee and not an instant one. The only thing missing is a little container to store some ground coffee. Ideally, I’d love to have a grinder and storage pot, so I can grind fresh coffee in the morning.
