TaoTronics Large Room True HEPA Air Purifier Review
Given the pandemic and work from home, I decided to invest a bit more in the better air quality at home. I used to only have an air purifier that was HEPA-like with permanent but cleanable filters that offered a bit less filtration.
You have to replace the filters, but £30 or so every 3-4 months seems reasonable enough to me for better air quality. If we’re okay spending on filtered water, then we should also be okay spending on better air quality.
The first impression was how small the air purifier was. Have this in my home office, and it’s between the size of a shredder and a PC tower.
Given the shape of this unit, positioning-wise it’s probably best to have this unit in the middle of the room (as they show in their pics), but for my purposes of filtering a small room, my positioning should be okay.
You can set different to different fan speeds, sleep mode defaults to 1, and it has a timer as well. Construction-wise, the unit seems well built, with metal mesh at the bottom, and a strap to carry the air purifier around if you need to.
There’s no remote, but that’s one less thing for you to lose! With this unit, all you need to do is leave the air purifier on at fan speed 1 at all times and you’re pretty much set.
Overall, the TaoTronics Large Room True HEPA Air Purifier seems to be a good unit.
