The earphones themselves are sleek and have a black design with stylish yet durable aluminium housing. I did have a slight concern with the plastic cabling, but it doesn’t seem to have affected the overall wear of them though. The 3.5mm connector forms a good tight fit, so these aren’t going to get disconnected. The ear tip choices allowed me to find the perfect fit.
Due to the great fit, these did stop loud external noises from interfering with the music during my daily commute on the bus. The large and powerful driver offers a much more balanced sound than some of the other earphones I have tried at this price point. The bass is pumping. This is a great choice for old school rap or electric music.
Vocals, in particular, sounded very forward and centre stage in comparison to many other headphones I have tried. The treble response was rather laid back in comparison to the rest of the sound.
Overall, I liked the Strauss & Wagner EM205 Earphones. The sound they produced is worth trying them out. Thanks for reading! Have you got any questions? Drop them in the comments below, or connect with us on Facebook or Twitter. Finally, check out our other Audio reviews.
