Jabra Elite 7 Active Earbuds
The Jabra Elite 7 Active Earbuds are excellent. Great sound quality and the ANC is amazing. Simply press one button and the sound of the gushing wind or the loud traffic is almost completely gone!
Unfortunately, the ANC makes a strange high pitch whistling noise in the left earphone but I can only hear this in complete silence which is not a big deal. They hear through made the surroundings louder than normal but thankfully you can turn it down in the mobile app.
Perhaps it’s because I use the smallest “ear tip” to get a very snug fit in my ear, or maybe I have more earwax than average, but it’s particularly difficult to remove the earwax from the ear tips and this often gets stuck to the inside of the case which is even harder to clean because of it’s small and strange shape (Good luck to those with large fingers).
The only other issue seems to happen when I connect the earphones to my Windows 10 laptop but it’s very frustrating. Occasionally, maybe one in ten times, only one earphone will output sound. The only fix I found was to put them back into the case and connect to my phone, then back into the case and connect to my laptop. There may be a simpler fix that I haven’t found yet because it’s such an uncommon issue, but when it happens it’s pretty annoying. If only the Jabra Sound+ App was available for my laptop, maybe this would fix the issue.
Overall, the Jabra Elite 7 Active Earbuds are a fantastic pair of earphones! Pumped full of the amazing quality-of-life features and great sound quality but are difficult to keep clean.
