Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition on Nintendo Switch is a tactical World War 2 third-person shooter with stealth gameplay, authentic ballistics and huge open levels. Stalk your targets through the canyons, oases and cities of North Africa, as you sabotage a super-weapons programme that could end Allied resistance for good. Use stealth, planning and skill to hunt your targets. From long-distance sniping to melee takedowns and explosive traps, you are as deadly up close as you are from afar.

This game runs very well in either handheld and docked. I was fully ready for a frame rate drop when switching to handheld mode. But this didn’t happen, it didn’t happen throughout the whole game.
From start to finish, the game is pretty short. The campaign is around 6 hours, which I could easily do in one sitting on a Sunday. But the game offers all the DLC, so additional missions are available. There is also multiplayer and solo survival to keep you busy.
I tend to play my games in handheld mode, but I struggled with Sniper Elite 3. This was mainly down to the fact enemies were difficult to spot on the smaller screen.

The gameplay is really fun and I had no issues. I am still in love with the slow-mo bullet, showing the x-ray of the person being hit. It can be tedious when you know there are enemies are around.
The weapons available to use are cool and fun to use. This is a sniper game, but you do get a machine gun for closer fights. Though ammo is short for the machine gun, so best to stay low.

Overall, Sniper Elite 3 Ultimate Edition is an excellent port to the Switch. Game ran smoothly in docked and handheld mode. If you like stealth WW2 games, then this is right up your alley.
