Following 10 years of research, testing and development led by experts in sound and sleep sciences, Sleephub identified how to re-train the brain to revert to natural sleep cycles using audible beats and pulses. Once they understood the science, it was just a case of pairing it with the right technology to bring it to life. Working with consumer technology experts, they created a natural sleep aid that finally fixes the age-old issue of sleeplessness or poor quality sleep. And so SleepHub was born.

SleepHub Review: Sleep better for longer

I have no problem getting to sleep, but my problems are on the length of sleep and waking up at 3 am. SleepHub is designed to help you get to sleep easier and stay asleep for the full eight hours. This is done with a combination of sound and music. These emulate brain waves and these encourage healthier sleep patterns.

Set up is very easy, inside the box you get two speakers and the hub. After plugging in the hub, you use the touch screen to link to your wifi and download any updates. The speakers need to be set up on either side of the bed, preferably at head height.

Whatever sound of music you pick to play during your sleep, you will hear an underlining hum. This hum is what stimulates your brainwaves, so it needs to almost fall into the background. This took a couple of nights to get used to, but it does work.

Out of the different cycles you can pick from, I decided to go with the eight-hour deep sleep cycle. All the cycles can be chosen via the touch screen.

So after using it for a month, what do I think? Well, it works for me. I find I am waking up later in the morning and also feeling more refreshed. I didn’t wake up during the night and also started to wait up at a more normal time. There is an alarm function on the SleepHub that slowly raises the volume to start waking you up.

Overall, the SleepHub is a pricey sleeping aid. But, it works! If you have trouble getting off to sleep or having a solid sleep, then it may be worth investing in the SleepHub.
