From the creators of the massively popular Relic Hunters Universe comes Relic Hunters Zero: Remix on Nintendo Switch. Alongside a community of millions of fans from around the world, meet the Relic Hunters as they prepare for landing on their console debut!

This game reminds me of why I love the handheld capabilities of the Switch. Relic Hunters Zero: Remix is a top-down fast-paced shooter, with limited weapons and short bursts of gameplay. These shorter levels are perfect for a quick game while you wait for your pizza to cook.otti

Shooting enemies is one part, collecting relics is the second part of the game. After finding 3 relics you can use it on your next playthrough. You then use them to gain shields, health etc. You can also unlock another 5 characters, all in all, enough to keep me from getting bored.
The game is made up of 3 game modes. Adventure mode is the standard linear game, endless mode repeats forever, allowing you to upgrade your weapons. Storm mode increases in difficulty based on how long you have played.

The design is a blocky pixel art mash-up. The music is fine, with a fun bit of sound to it. I will say that this doesn’t feel like its any different to another top-down shooter.
Overall, I have to say I am a fan of Relic Hunters Zero: Remix on Nintendo Switch. Though it doesn’t bring anything new to the table, its short bursts of gameplay are fun for breaks in the day. Finally, check out Jabba Reviews. Also, follow us on Twitter or Facebook.
