Senstroke Connected Sensors
Simply attach the Senstroke Connected Sensors to your drumsticks, and then thanks to Bluetooth and our free application (IOS, Android, Windows) play and learn drums whenever you want. Drums are finally becoming accessible to everyone!
The Senstroke Essential Box is a perfect choice if you want to learn how to play the drums. It contains 2 sensors, 1 foot strap, 1 USB cable, 1 pair of drumsticks and 1 practice pad.
The two sensors fit drumsticks sized 7A or 5A, but I was lucky to have a pair of sticks included along with the sensors. I found once slid onto the sticks, its easier to leave them on and charge when needed. You can also slide the sensors onto your foot using the included foot strap.
The sensors have led indicators, letting you know when they are running out of battery, ready to pair and paired. I’d recommend charging these when you get them, it takes around three hours to fully charge. Though you do get about twelve hours from them.
Set up is a little long-winded, after downloading the Senstorke app, you have to pair each drum stick separately. Once paired the rest of the app is intuitive and very easy to set up your drum kit. As you bang down the sticks on a pillow or the included pad you get a sound coming out.
I liked that if I had a spare five minutes, I could bang out a couple of hits while I think. It’s also very easy to start to learn the drums using this, as you don’t need the kit straight away. You can play on any surface and I even set up a “drum kit” on my desk with little placemats indicating each area to hit.
Overall, the Senstroke Connected Sensors are a great entry for learning the drums. They are also just a fun accessory for around the house.
