With the phonetag, I can finally set my phone in either portrait or landscape. The 3M sticker means I can attach it directly onto the back of my phone or case.
The thinking behind the phonetag is pretty clever. Smartphone users hold their phones vertically over 90% of the time, so they combined the functionality of phone ring holders with a hands-free portrait stand. This ensures your content is always delivered the right way around.
You can angle your phone upright for facial recognition, video calls, messaging, web-browsing or portrait-only apps e.g. Facebook, Instagram etc. Then seamlessly turn your phone sideways to enjoy the full-screen video.
The integrated ring allows me to securely hold my phone when taking photos or just using it while I walk. The in-built magnetic plate enables you to use phonetag directly on magnetic surfaces around the home.
They utilize an adjustable friction hinge and rotating base. This is how the stand can support my phone at what angle I use. The ring holder is s around 25mm diameter which is perfect for my chubby fingers.
The phonetag itself is only 4mm / 0.15” thick and it has a soft matt feel to it. There is a rubber tip on the end to keep it secure when used. The finish used makes it incredibly durable and resistant to wear and tear.
Overall, the phonetag Multi-view Phone Stand with Magnetic Ring Holder is my new favourite thing! I wasn’t a fan of ring holders for a long time and found this one to be the best one I have used.
