JOBY FreeHold Universal Kit

The JOBY FreeHold Universal Kit works by allowing your phone to be held securely and comfortably with a back, sliding elastic finger loop. JOBY has then hidden a quick snap connector under the strap slider which allows you to attach unique flexible wrapping legs or a standard ¼-20” tripod adapter. This FreeHold Universal Kit sticks to most phones and cases and supports phone devices weighing up to around 500g.

Application is really simple, wipe the back of the phone or phone case with the included wipe. Then you stick on the FreeHold kit, I tend to do this before bed, so it has enough time to stick before I start using it.
The finger loop is made of a strong fabric, but this means that you won’t be able to use it as a stand. This is why the bendable legs are also included, as this can be snapped on to all you to position it anywhere. Speaking of Gorillapod, this can also be attached to the JOBY.
Speaking off the flexible arm set, this is such a good addition. It works like a mini Gorillapod, I can attach my phone to several places for video calls and photos.
The finger loop is very comfortable to use, and perfect for my larger fingers. You can snap it down to “open” the finger loop up allowing the finger to slip in more easily. I found this useful and comfortable to use when laying down. Other ring holders didn’t provide the right amount of grip to my finger.
Overall, the JOBY FreeHold Universal Kit is a great product. The fact it allows for this eco-system of addons to be attached is a great plus!
