Enjoy a high-speed gaming experience and work efficiency with the Lexar 512GB NM760 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD. Designed for gamers and professionals with speeds of up to 5300MB/s read and 4500MB/s write1, get 9.6×3 the performance compared to traditional SATA-based SSD. Leverages PCIe Gen 4×4 NVMe1.4 technology standard and backwards compatible with PCIe 3.0.
Developed with the 12nm controller, the NM760 SSD consumes less power for longer battery life and a better user experience. With an optional heatsink, you can unleash outstanding performance and don’t need to worry about sudden performance drops from high temperatures.
The NM760 is widely compatible with notebooks, PC, PlayStation® 5, etc., and delivers powerful performance for high-speed storage backup and access to content. Unlike traditional hard disk drives, the NM760 SSD has no moving parts, so it’s built to last. On top of that, it’s also shock and vibration-resistant2, making it one robust and reliable SSD.
Lexar 512GB NM760 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD Review
All Lexar product designs undergo extensive testing in the Lexar Quality Labs, facilities with more than 1,100 digital devices, to ensure performance, quality, compatibility, and reliability.
In our first test, we used CrystalDiskMark. The NM760 had a sequential read speed of 5276.44MB/s and a sequential write speed of 3934.33MB/s, both reaching the nominal level. For our next test we used AS SSD Benchmark. The Lexar NM760 had a continuous read speed of 4165.99MB/s and a continuous write speed of 2981.66MB/s.
Also, we wanted to test the SLC caching strategy, we did this with HD Tune. In the empty disk state, writing speed is fairly high before 80GB, and then the writing speed falls to around 800MB/s. We found this to be acceptable for an SSD of this size.
Overall, As an entry-level PCIe4.0 SSD, the Lexar 512GB NM760 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 NVMe SSD has excellent performance and stability.
