The ivoler 5-in-1 Steam Deck Dock Stand is a great little Dock and is very portable and easily thrown into a pocket or bag for easy transportation.

If you want a Nintendo switch-like experience, playing your favourite pc games on a TV then this is the one for you, it’s plug plays and very easy to get things set up.

In the box is just the Dock and a manual, so all wires and accessories you have to provide yourself with the USB C charger that came with the steam deck are highly recommended for use with this dock so you get the proper watt charging.

You can connect external HDD/SSDs using one of the 3 high-speed USB’s on the back of the Dock and even connect dongles or wires for wired controllers, you can easily pair Bluetooth controllers to the system as well. If you have a 4k TV then the output will be 4k/30hz and if you have a 1080p TV it will be 1080p/60hz (and up to 120hz).

The one problem I had (and this was my fault) was I like to save battery on the steam deck, as you Know some games are very demanding and will eat away at your battery very quickly so I lowered the Watts to 10 and the refresh rate to 40hz and this helps add an hour or to gaming and sometimes longer, so when connected to the Dock if you have similar settings applied you will see the library menu and settings but the menu will be stuttery and laggy but if you go back to 60hz and 15 Watts everything will run great and games will launch normally (BTW if you have similar settings to mine games won’t show when launched).

On the back of the Dock, there is one HDMI, one USB c and 3 high-speed USB ports for connecting different accessories and one built-in USB for connecting and charging the steam deck it also has small rubber feet to prevent slipping which is handy.

I have been using this Dock for a few days now and I can say yes there are pros and cons like everything (I will list them below) but I think the design is sleek and the steam deck looks great when docked.

Overall, the ivoler 5-in-1 Steam Deck Dock Stand is great if you want to have that Nintendo switch-like experience of playing your games on a bigger screen.
