Into the Dead 2 Nintendo Switch Review
This is everything you’d expect to see in a zombie auto-runner. Gameplay can be a tad monotonous, as you run forward trying to avoid zombies, shoot em, or pick up ammo to shoot em. The zombie element is pretty standard, with them munching on bodies, or jumping out at you.
After getting about halfway through, the novelty did start to wear off. The scene may be different, but it’s the same game each level you play. They are drops of light with some fun guns you can pick up or even the turret gun parts. The point of the game is to grind and unlock, so you can go back and beat your previous scores on older levels. Side missions are a nice break, as these offer different locations and play styles.
Unlocking weapons is a big part of the game, with them ranging from pistols to compound bows. But you still just shoot, you can’t aim, or pick an area of the zombie to shoot. So at the end of the day, it’s just a blank gun with different skins on it. There are ways to get upgrades for your guns, but again these feel lost when actually in the game itself.
The graphics and gameplay work well. It looks great and I didn’t notice any issues with bugs. It’s a fun game, but not for the full price of £35. Finally, please check out our gaming reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
