I was pleased with the build quality of the HyperX SoloCast. It’s snug, light, and sits well on the desk and has a good solid feel to it. The top features a tap to mute. Simply tap the top of the mic to mute, and the signature LED indicator lets you immediately see whether or not you’re broadcasting.

The included USB-C cable isn’t braided, so don’t be too rough with it. It was perfect to be stuffed behind my desk and had enough slack to manoeuvre the mic easily.
Overall, if you plan on starting a streaming channel, or regular zoom calls the HyperX SoloCast Gaming Microphone is a great starter mic. It’s compact and sounds great. Finally, check out our site for other reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
