Gtech has upgraded their Cordless Hedge Trimmer to offer you an even tougher tool, with our thickest, most durable blade ever. The Gtech Cordless Hedge Trimmer 3.0 is designed to help you reach higher up and lower down with less stress and strain.

You can roam free with the Gtech Cordless Hedge Trimmer 3.0 and enjoy up to 60 minutes of runtime. I was excited to see this was cordless, as that means there are no cables to worry about accidentally cutting through. The battery also means that I don’t have to deal with petrol. It runs off a high torque 18V motor that delivers power where it’s needed.
The adjustable cutting head means I can reach as high as 10 feet! The head rotates through 135°, making it very easy to cut how I want. The precision blade can cut through stems up to 15mm thick, making gardening easier and more enjoyable. The trimmer only weighs 2.47kg, making it a lot easier to carry and manoeuvre.
Gtech Cordless Hedge Trimmer 3.0 Review
The battery takes around 4 hours to fully charge, giving you around 60 mins of runtime. The LEDs on the top allow you to monitor how much battery is left. The 18V Lithium-ion battery can be charged either on or off this cordless hedge cutter. This battery is interchangeable with the Gtech GT 3.0 Grass Trimmer (Review coming soon), giving you either double the runtime or a multitasking power source.

There is a strong safety harness to give a bit of stability when being used. It dealt with the sides of the hedge easily and then you can adjust the angle of the cutting blade for the top. The machine is well made, strong and all parts are of good quality.
To prevent accidental starting, Gtech added a safety switch to this hedge trimmer. One side of the safety switch must be pressed in, along with the one-handed power trigger, to start this tool, making it safe and beautifully simple to operate.
Overall, the Gtech Cordless Hedge Trimmer 3.0 offers a fantastic eco-system of technology. Also, the ability to share batteries across devices is super clever.
