Gtech’s new and improved Gtech Cordless Grass Trimmer GT 4.0 uses an ergonomic handle and safety harness to make gardening even easier than before. With 30 minute runtime and lightweight cordless design, you will have cut and edged your grass to perfection in no time.

This is powered by an 18V motor, giving you the freedom to cut and edge your lawn. Weighing just 1.85kg, the Gtech Cordless Grass Trimmer is easy to manoeuvre, and I found it put less strain on your shoulders, neck and back.

Performance is important to a lot of people, but so is the ease of use. This methodology is why Gtech added an adjustable assist handle and an ergonomic handle. These both help balance the weight of this cordless trimmer. The battery gives you up to 30 minutes of runtime after a 4-hour charge.

A nice addition is that you can twist the head and transforms it into a precision lawn edger. The blades are easy to clip on and a pack of 50 will set you back £3.99.

To prevent accidental starting, Gtech added a safety switch to this grass trimmer. One side of the safety switch must be pressed in, along with the one-handed power trigger, to start this tool, making it safe and beautifully simple to operate.

I found it to be incredibly powerful for its size. It doesn’t have any problems tacking nettles or thistles. Though for larger areas I think it would probably benefit from a second battery. So you don’t have to wait 4 hours between charging.
