Gravastar Venus Bluetooth Speaker Review

The Venus arrived in a small cube box, with a nice magnetic lid. The small Venus is stored securely inside along with a comic and its USB-C charging cable. The look of the Venus is the key selling point, with a menacing alien design. It has 3 tiny legs under and looks like a turret from a game.

The front face of the speaker has a customizable RGB LED, which can be controlled by the volume buttons being pressed at the same time. The whole thing is weighty and feels sturdy. The design and details are all on-point, I was blown away by the design of this speaker. I couldn’t spot a single blemish or sign of wear.

There are buttons for volume, Bluetooth, power and play/pause. These are all physical buttons which a nice mushy texture when pressed down. I was a little disappointed to see I couldn’t skip tracks.

Sound-wise I was blown away. This sounds huge, and like it was coming from a soundbar. While watching Heat, dialogue, explosions and music sound great and loud. I did notice a lack of details on some parts. The speaker grill is at the front, so you need this pointing at your face for the best sound. Highs and mids are crystal clear, and the bass is punchy enough for me.

The Gravastar Venus Bluetooth Speaker is a great looking speaker. This is why you’d buy it for the look, its cool! Finally, check out our site for other reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
