The GooFoto camera holder is made of Green high-elastic rubber material wrapped with 7 flexible aluminium cores. The rubber jacket is made of tire technology, waterproof, sunscreen and scratch-resistant, durable and not easily damaged.
The Universal Smartphone Clip supports the horizontal and vertical installation. The aluminium metal ball head can be rotated 360 degrees and horizontally adjusted 180 degrees vertically. With an angle lock System, all angles can be adjusted accurately. perfect fit for Outdoor video recording, vlogging, live streaming, Outdoor Shots, Travel, etc.
I mainly used this to film indoor workouts and sports matches by hanging a small cam or mobile just about anywhere I can in the gym. It has a very nice finish, not super light, not tiny, but convenient to carry.
Once attached, the stability is good. When I use this with a phone, it doesn’t move at all. With a bigger camera, you have to squeeze it into the grip. It holds devices incredibly well, even when mounted onto the bike.
The mount to hold the phone is not very wide and the elastic grip grips the shell of my galaxy s20 hard. Though as it’s a universal mount, I can use my own mount if needed.
Overall, the GooFoto Phone Tripod Flexible Universal Clip is an ok tripod. Though I would have prefered a stronger grip.
