Many of the earphones aimed for use for the gaming or 3D sound content employ sound creation focused on the surprise of first listening to its sound with exaggerated bass and high range. But, the objective of sound used in tandem with video for games is to immerse the players in the world of content and to provide extra critical information which is visually unpresentable to help players succeed in the game, not to surprise the player with the sound. We believe that to immerse players in-game, it is important to accurately reproduce the intention and aim of the game creators as embedded in the sound. The Final VR3000 Gaming Earphones were developed based on this way of thinking.

As the VR3000 are aimed at gamers and VR users, they need to be light and comfortable. These fit in incredibly well and are very light. Also, there is no weight pulling down on your ears, which is a problem for wired earphones. These have been left in my ears for a whole day and I found them to be very comfortable. Over-ear headphones have the problem of over-heating your ears and becoming uncomfortable. So these are great idea.
When using my Oculus games like Beat Saber and The Climb all sound much more realistic. The sound has more texture to it and feels like it is all around you. There is a more balanced neutral sound, as opposed to a bass bump from bulky gaming headphones. Even with music tracks, they sound great and the “lack” of bass is quite nice. Mids stand out and are crisp and clear, as there are fewer bass vocals and instruments stand out.
Movies and general Youtubing are perfect for these, as they emphasise the dialogue. There is no lag due to the 3.5mm connection and so audio and video match up.
Most gaming audio products we have looked at are huge, bulky, RGB headsets. So the VR3000 are a new breed of sleek, audio tweaked earphones. I was a bit confused by what they offer, but having used them I understand it a bit more.
Overall, the Final VR3000 Gaming Earphones are a great companion to any gamer or VR user.
