The R1280T’s are housed in 100% medium-density fibreboard (MDF), which means they are built to resist resonance. On the back of the active speaker you will find the dual stereo line-in ports, to hook up your PC, TV or Turntable, assuming your turntable has a built-in phono pre-amp.
The speakers come with all cables you will potentially need to enjoy your music right out of the box.
The R1280T can be controlled either by the included wireless remote control or the ergonomic knobs on the side panel of the active speaker.

These speakers are simply phenomenal for desktop audio. The kit comes with everything needed to connect to a PC or AMP./ The connections on the back are standard audio interfaces. Also, I can purchase an aftermarket woofer in the future. If anything breaks I will only need to replace the part that breaks and not the whole set!
