Based on the hit entertainment show hosted by the mountainous Greg Davies and his assistant Little Alex Horne, Taskmaster the Board Game brings the very essence of this peculiarly popular show to the comfort of your own home!

Taskmaster the Board Game follows the same steps as the hit Dave/Channel 4 show. You first need to assign the role of the Taskmaster, which means that this is a minimum of three people needed to play. They then pick an area on the board at random. Also, each player has a blank frame which they can use to draw themselves on. The areas to choose from are, the living room, kitchen, lab and garden. Each area has a set of tasks based on where they are played. The garden will need a garden to play in and good weather.
Also, there is a stack of secret task cards, which each player is given one of. You have to complete this task without the other players guessing. If I am honest this is the best part of the whole game. As I said it’s a minimum of three people, I tried with two and it wasn’t as fun.
Best game for after Christmas Lunch – Taskmaster the Board Game Review
Some of the tasks do require stuff to be available around the house:
- Kitchen: Make the best-packed lunch
- Garden: Make the best puddle
- Lab: Do a genuine sneeze
The final task is a QR code which you scan and have the actual Alex Horne give you.

Overall, I’d give Taskmaster the Board Game a solid ten out of ten. It’s like having the show in your house and is especially fun after a couple of drinks.
