AUKEY B80 Hybrid Bluetooth Earphones are the new high-fidelity highlight in AUKEY’s new Key Series. These are premium earbuds and come with a hybrid driver system. They include features such as Bluetooth 5, aptX-Low Latency, USB-C charging, water resistance, and voice assistant support.

Unboxing the B80s was a premium experience. There were 3 pairs of foam and 3 pairs of silicone ear-tips. This was a treat as I tend to use foam over silicone and have found many headphones don’t include these. There was a USB-A to C Cable, which filled me with happiness.
In other words, we are getting a faster USB-C charging standard. A rubber carrying pouch, which is a nice addition, as this is easy to use with the headphones, and can be folded to fit in my pocket.
But this means when listening to tracks by Lenny Kravitz and Dokken I can hear a more full, warm low and the mids are combined with clear and natural highs. This is all thanks to the engineers at AUKEY and the artist themselves.

Because the B80 feature that USB Type-C port, I can fully charge the 8-hour battery in around an hour and a half. Therefore this is a massive plus as it means in a pinch I can get around 80 mins of playtime and listen for longer from a 10 min charge.

There’s a really comfortable fit for these earphone, due to the over-ear hooks, and three sizes each of memory foam and soft silicone ear-tips allowed me to test and find the best fit.
Overall I am a huge fan of these, I have been using a pair of dual earbuds from 1MORE, but these from AUKEY are my new daily driver. After that check out our Audio section for more reviews.
