At Sundown: Shots in the Dark is so much fun! You can play both competitive and co-op against the games AI. Throw in their online option and there is no end to how much fun you can have.

You can play as one of the four characters, in three different modes of play. These are local, online and training. Training is the one I am playing most of the time. Training is as close as you can get to single player experience. Which I don’t mind as it is chock full of enemies and achievements. The local and online games work as you would expect them to.

Training is the way to go when you first play the game. As this introduces you to the four characters, and how to play the game. The controls though intuitive do take some getting used to. This is a stealth game at its core, so finding the right angles and the dark spots are key to complete it.

I was able to hone my skills with the training mode. I must admit when first playing I found aiming to be a massive issue for me. But I found with practice I could hit the targets. This meant that when teaming up I wasn’t letting the whole team down.

The different weapons offer various ways to take out your foe. Though not visually stunning, the graphics have a great comic retro feel to them. As with most indie games, I find the look of this game unique in its style. The top down look and explosions look amazing and add to the feel of the game.
