8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ Bluetooth Gamepad Software
The 8Bitdo SN30 Pro+ follows the natural evolution of the SN30 controller. On top of the twin sticks from the Pro, there are grips, L2 and R2 triggers, and a removable battery. The rest of the design is similar to any 8Bitdo fans. One of the best d-pads on the market, nowhere near as spongy as the Nintendo Pro controller. The four face buttons are snappy and responsive. The analogue sticks are positioned along the bottom and line up with the grip.
I primarily use the Pro+ with the Switch, but it also works with PC, Mac and Android. Connected or wireless, I didn’t notice any latency. There is companion software to use with the controller, which allows you to customize elements of the Pro+.
This software allows you to re-map any of the buttons, change the vibration intensity, the sensitivity of the twin sticks and bumpers. You can also assign macros to any of the buttons. There isn’t any NFC support, but for me, I have never had a need for it.
