Like many people, I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks. Self-care is a key part of my day-to-day life, and part of that is what I call my ‘Panic Pack’. The Tisserand Aromatherapy Little Box of Relaxation is a key part of that kit that lives in my bag for those moments when I need a little extra help.
The Little Box of Relaxation is a trio of roller balls with three different aromatherapy oil blends designed to “help you breathe, calm and relax.” The box is stylish and modern, which makes it a nice idea for a special ‘just because’ gift for someone struggling with their stress and anxiety levels. The concept is that you use the roller ball to apply the oil blend to your pulse points, behind your ears, on your neck, and temples. I also use it on my wrist pulse points so I can inhale it more directly.
Relaxing Scents
- Mind Clear: Peppermint, lavender and lemon
- Inner Harmony: Frankincense and geranium
- Total De-Stress: Geranium, orange and nutmeg
Each 10ml bottle has a different name. My favourite at the moment is the Mind Clear blend because it is a clean and fresh scent that really does help the cluttered mind clear. The Mind Clear blend is Peppermint, Lavender, and Lemon, and all the scents are blended with 100% pure essential oils. Inner Harmony provides a soothing and comforting Frankincense and Geranium mix, and Total De-Stress is Geranium, Orange, and Nutmeg. The Total De-Stress blend is great for just before bedtime to slow things down, it helps me get ready to rest.

The oils are blended really nicely, and unlike cheaper roller balls I found the Tisserand is strong enough to make a difference without being sickly and overpowering. When I apply the oil to my neck and temples I only notice the scent for a few minutes before it becomes faded, which is a negative, but I have found that if I want to keep smelling the oils I can put some on my wrist and smell that directly.
