Get ready to experience the patented, skull-thumping power of Skullcandy Crusher Evo Headphones — now combined with the ultimate audio customization of Personal Sound by our partners at Audiodo™. You’ve never heard your music and movies like this before. Because there’s never been anything like this before.
I have to admit I am not a fan of the over-ear headphones from Skullcandy. These are big, with big earcups, but I found them a tad too tight. For a trip on the bus to work, they are perfect. But for a two-hour zoom call, they get uncomfortable.

Controls are on either ear cup. The left features a power button and a slider for bass vibration. The right has volume, track skip and a play/pause button. There’s a Tile tracker stuffed inside, so you can use the Tile app to track them down if you lose them.
Skullcandy Crusher Evo Headphones Review
I was impressed by the battery life on the Skullcandy Crusher Evo. I was able to get around 42 hours of playtime. Fast charge is supported, so a 10 min charge will get you around fours hours of playtime. To save battery the headphones will power off when not being used.
If you plan to watch films or play games with these, you’ll be happy to hear I couldn’t see any lag in the audio. Everything synced up properly so perfect for catching up with The Crown. Though I was disappointed to hear that they bleed sound, which is noticeable in a quiet room.
There is an app enhanced with Personal Sound from Audiodo, that will walk you through setting up the sound to be perfect for your hearing. You personalise the sound for music, podcasts and movies. The haptic feedback is an absolute must when gaming, but I wasn’t a fan when listing to music.
Overall, I won’t be running out to buy the Skullcandy Crusher Evo Headphones. Though they offer a huge battery boost, the lack of ANC and bass slider just isn’t for me. Finally, check out our other audio reviews.
