Qobuz appears to have a larger hi-res library of tracks, compared to Tidal. But in our testing, Spotify and Tidal had albums that weren’t available on Qobuz at all. Some albums that had just come out, seemed to be unavailable on Qobuz.
My biggest gripe is the lack of a hi-res section or even a filter on a search. I can look through the entire Pink Floyd discography and spot each album that has a hi-res symbol on it. But why not allow me to filter by hi-res, that’s what I’m paying the money for. I do like though that bitrate and frequency are displayed during playback.
Overall, It’s difficult for me to recommend Qobuz High-Quality Music Streaming. The lack of any hi-res section is a big blow, and the features overall are just lacking compared to competitors.
