Q-YO Blaster Nintendo Switch Trailer
To start the game you create a team of 3 characters. Each character has their special ability which can be activated when filled up mid-game. A nice bonus is the Pulse power, this turns shots into gems for you to collect. This is great for when you need a push to activate your special ability.
This is a short game, clocking in at 10 levels. Though I will say the levels are bizarre and bright, with a great collection of oddball bosses. You need to learn the attack patterns to beat the bad guy.

After each level is completed, you get a chance to choose a powerup. Choosing wisely will make the next level easier for you.
There are 3 difficulty levels, on the easiest we completed the game in under 20 mins. But it was a very fun 20 mins. You can also have a friend join in if you want some split-screen co-op.

In docked mode, Q-YO Blaster played perfectly with no stutters or dips in framerate. When in handheld we did notice a small drop, but this is normal. The graphics are a bit wacky, and this fits in with the whole look and feel of the game.
Overall, though they aren’t doing anything brand new with the genre. Q-YO Blaster is a fun game, with the addition of local co-op. Finally, please check out our gaming reviews. Also, don’t forget to connect with the Jabba Reviews team on Facebook or Twitter.
