PoooliPrinter L2 Instant HD
The PoooliPrinter L2 Instant HD is a thermal printer. This means it uses thermal paper and heat to print out black and white images.
It arrived in a well-packaged box, with a very small instruction manual, a little magnetic beak, USB cable, and a sample of their paper roll. The beak is a nice touch as it gives the Poooli a bird-like appearance, while also functioning as a magnet to hang up photos. There are a couple of colours available including yellow, pink, blue and green.
Before starting any printing, you will need to fully charge it. I found it took around an hour and a half to fully charge from out of the box. This gives you enough time to download and install the app on your Android or iOs device. The app is as adorable as the look of the printer! You can access your photos directly from the app, and also pick different filters and frames. The best part for me was I could doodle onto the photos.
A big feature of the Poooliprinter is the vast array of paper available to buy. You can get the standard or sticky coloured paper, and even sticky labels. This is great as it means everyone can find what they want.
Once charged you can connect to your device via Bluetooth. We decided to print some photos of our office cat Bruce on clear sticky paper. When printing you have lots of different options for how you want your prints to look. I found dark was best as it is the easiest to see on a black and white image. As a side note, the clear sticky paper is quite difficult to rip via the printer, so I’d suggest cutting it with scissors.
This is especially great for my wife, she loves scrapbooking and this means she can add some great designs to her journals. We found it’s great for just printing out fun photos and putting them up around the house.
Overall, we enjoyed using the PoooliPrinter L2 Instant HD. It’s super quick to print photos and is perfect for adding your flair to them too.
