PNY Wireless Car Charger 10W
The PNY Wireless 10W car charger is a universal Qi compatible charger that attaches to your air vents and allows for hands-free access to your phone on the move.
Whilst not ugly, this Qi compatible charger looks basic. It is made of black plastic, and it is sturdy, but there’s nothing special or attractive about this. For some, this is a good thing as it is unobtrusive when you’re not charging your phone because the matte black finish blends in.
The expandable holder is adjustable from 55 to 90 mm and so can handle most major phones. Apple, Samsung, and other phone brands that use Qi are able to charge wirelessly when placed in the holder, and thanks to a 10W fast-charge output you can recharge quickly whilst on the road. PNY include a Quick Charge Car cable for fast-charging mode which is great because you don’t have to look for extra pieces to make use of this. Because the cable is included you can unbox, set up and go.
There is an LED light which makes it easy to see when the charger is powered, and the light is bright enough to be visible during the day. This is a great way to know at-a-glance that your phone is being charged, without distracting you from the road. The 360° rotation allows you to set this up on your dash in the way you find most useful.
With 2 years warranty included, this is a functional, practical car charger with the added benefit of in-car fast charging. It makes using Google Maps for navigation easy, and helps you stay connected on the move. Because it is a universal charger you can also let your passengers charge up their Qi-enabled smart phones.

Personally, I think this is a good buy – if you’re looking for a powerful 10W output Qi car charger then you can’t go wrong with the PNY wireless charger. If you want something more stylish, or aren’t worried about the price, then there are other choices on the market.
