JSAUX Steam Deck Docking Station Review

After the simple unboxing, setting this up was pretty easy. I plugged in an HDMI cable from my monitor to the back of the dock, turned on the Steam Deck and just like that my Steam Deck was docked. Nothing extra was needed to be done to get this working. Everyone’s use for these ports will vary but for me, I currently have a USB mouse and keyboard connected to the dock and they worked instantly with no issue.
I decided to give the upgraded ethernet port a few tests starting by downloading Sleeping Dogs from the Steam store and comparing the speeds that I get from wifi to the gigabit ethernet and it was a night and day comparison. Next, I did a speed test on speedtest.net and the dock’s gigabit ethernet port showcased its power again matching my ISP’s download/upload speeds.
You can power your Steam Deck and recharge its battery while plugged into the Docking Station by plugging in the charger cable the Steam Deck came with into the back of the docking station. Even if you don’t have any interests in using the docking feature on the Steam Deck this docking station could easily be used as a stand for your Steam Deck on your desk.
Overall, if you’re looking for a dock for your Steam Deck there’s nothing better than the JSAUX Steam Deck Docking Station right now, I highly recommend this product.
