There are new raised buttons for easier navigation. I found with the previous model, it was difficult to find the navigation buttons. These more tactile buttons are a great addition.
Battery life gets a boost of up to 50 hours. I found I could even eek this 50 hours to around 55 hours. I love the optional AAA battery, so you can get up to 100-hour battery life.
Bluetooth has had a much-needed update to 5.0. Though still not 5.1, 5.0 is very stable and allows for a much more secure connection. There is a vented headband with a new comfort foam headband, along with memory foam ear cushions for a much more comfortable listening experience.
These come with 30 SNR for noise reduction and OSHA-compliant hearing protection. The SafeMax™ Technology limits volume to 85 dB. There is a background noise-reducing microphone for clear calls in loud environments. Also, they are IPX4 sweat and water resistance.
Finally, there are also Siri/Google Voice compatible, so you can issue voice commands without having to get your phone out.
