The keycaps are designed with durable PBT material that is resistant to wear, friction, and solvents. Secondary functions are printed on the sides of the keycaps for quick recognition. The key switches are custom-designed to be a balance of responsiveness and accuracy, featuring a short travel time and low actuation force. They’re also reliable, rated for 80 million keypresses with no loss of quality.

Get brighter, more luminous RGB lighting, thanks to the exposed LED design of the HyperX mechanical switches. Customize Game Mode, build macros, and set up per-key lighting and effects.

Two-step keyboard feet allow you to set your keyboard up at 3 different tilt angles. A detachable USC-C cable makes this ultra-compact keyboard super portable. A keycap puller, an additional Esc key, and the special alternate spacebar design for the Alloy Origins 60 are included for additional customization.

At first glance it is a pretty, minimalist keyboard, in black colour, black keys, with special functions on keycaps in cases where they are used, it feels quite heavy since it has an aluminium body, you could say that it weighs more than a kilo, at the bottom comes the brand logo. Something I liked was the height levels that the keyboard has, it has 2 legs that accommodate them according to our taste we will have a certain height, as seen in the photo. Keycaps feel great, although I’ll end up changing them.

On the other hand, I thought I would miss the function keys, (F1, F2 etc), but when using the function key you do not need it, in the end, you get used to using the keyboard with shortcuts and it is more efficient when working.

In this section I think it might be better, the software is downloaded from the Microsoft store, but it’s a bit confusing to use at first, I don’t like that there is no way if the keyboard takes it to another computer it keeps the same settings if the software doesn’t start it just stays with the wave as it comes by default, and I don’t know if it’s because it’s an app from the Microsoft store but it usually happens to me that when I require high demand for hardware from my computer the program seems to go very well so that the lights flashback to the default wave mode, and in a few moments it gets back to the one I had configured, this happens when I control any 3D modelling scene the render knob, but I feel like it shouldn’t happen.

As for this topic, I don’t usually play much, but in short, because it has a game mode that is activated with FN+i that what it does is disable the Windows button, thus preventing games from being minimized.

On the other hand, the keyboard already brings us 2 additional keycaps, one of the spacebars that comes with a wave-like figure that lights up very well, and the ESC with the brand logo, as well as including a key to remove the keycaps. The cable that comes with the keyboard is a nylon braided USB C to USB 2.0. Another advantage of this keyboard is that it is smaller, it gets less dirty.

Overall, I would highly recommend the HyperX Alloy Origins 60 Ultra Compact 60% Mechanical Keyboard.
